Off Center Studios is a small pottery studio tucked into the mountains surrounding Asheville, NC.

Potter, Teresa Aeschliman, is inspired by Iga ware, ancient Japanese pottery wood-fired in anagama kilns dripping with molten ash. The rugged surfaces and irregular forms of Iga pots point to expressive ideas and intimate use over many lifetimes.

Teresa attempts to infuse her pots with a similar sense of texture, time and potential, encouraging them to reveal their clay beginnings from beneath the glaze.

Off Center Studios pots are food safe and oven, microwave and dishwasher friendly.
