Susan Stanton is a working photographer specializing in scenes of the tri-state area. Her work has graced the covers of the Knight Literary Journal, the Laurel of Asheville Magazine and the Laurel of Highlands Magazine and her images have appeared in Our State Magazine, Asheville Citizen-Times, and other area publications. Susan's work has been on display at The Biltmore Estate, Bluewood Gallery, Hand in Hand Gallery, Asheville Area Arts Council, Henderson County Arts Council, Black Mountain Center for the Arts, Gallery 86 - Haywood County Arts Council, Pack Place, National Parks Conservation Association - Asheville Field Office, The Cradle of Forestry, Transylvania County Arts Council and Artwalk of Boone.

Susan is the founder of the Southern Appalachian Photographers Guild, a select group of premier photographers who are second to none in their quest for excellence. All members are seasoned professionals who take a pro-active stance on environmental issues. A portion of all net profits are donated to organizations whose mission is to help preserve our natural world.
