Liz Wiesel has been painting frantically in her tiny shed on the edge of her property for the past 4 years. A few months into the pandemic she looked around and noticed that while she was missing her friends and desperately longing to “people watch”-she had created quite a few new friends in her studio. These paintings have helped her to make the past year a bit less lonely, and a little more amusing. Liz works in a tiny 10 x 12 studio shed a short walk from her home in Hendersonville North Carolina. She shares her space with her dreamy husband, three kids, too many dogs, a few cats and a very entitled pet rabbit. She also teaches art at Fernleaf Community Charter school and bakes poorly but enthusiastically at least once a week. Her favorite thing is being able to connect to people through her paintings and potentially make someone chuckle when they see her work.
