Welcome to Thimbletree studio!

As a mother-daughter duo, we started this business as a way to share our love to creating and to help bridge the geographical distance between us. I (Camille) live in Brevard with my husband and lab/golder retriever mix and my mom/business partner lives in Birmingham, AL. While my mom works primarily with vintage fabrics, I work with leather. 

All our handmade items are created in hopes that they bring joy and serve a purpose. These leather portfolios can be used as artists' portfolios, notebooks, cherished book holders, laptop or iPad cases or whatever you feel like carrying around in a handmade leather portfolio.

Each piece is hand cut, hole punched by hand, and hand stitched, so that each portfolio is absolutely one of a kind. I like to highlight any imperfections found in the leather abd utilize its natural shape and structure whenever possible.

A big goal of ours at Thimbletree studio is to use only quality products and utilize scrap material in our work as much as possible in order to minimize waste. The leather coozies were created as a way to repurpose scrap leather from larger projects. The coozies are also hand cut, hole punched by hand and hand stitched.
