Grateful Woodwork is a family-owned and operated business located in Asheville, North Carolina. It was founded by Alyssa and Alex Laarhoven in 2020. Alyssa and Alex focus on using locally sourced lumber from fallen trees. Most of their items are made from salvaged trees that they have milled themselves. Alyssa and Alex use these imperfections to their benefit by implementing resin in their work. A piece some woodworks would consider trash is viewed as an opportunity to make something beautiful in these artists' eyes.
