A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Phyllis specializes in hand building clay art objects. She works primarily with porcelain. Her porcelain angels are individually created -- no two are exactly alike.

Phyllis works full-time in the Human Resources Department at Eastman Chemical Company and "plays" in clay for relaxation. She is married and has two sons, a daughter-in-law and one grandson.
