Sanjay Sood
I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya with an East Indian background. Having been influenced by the cultural diversities surrounding me and exposed to the beauty around me, influenced my art in latter years.
I particularly enjoy drawing the human figure, primarily because of the emotional and physical complexity I see within. By using an extremely basic style of French contemporary lines, I strive to create the simplicity of the human spirit by using color and expressive body gestures.
As a self taught artist, I have been fortunate to sell my work in my own Gallery for many years now. It gives me tremendous satisfaction to receive a wide spectrum of comments from all those people who purchased my art for their homes, businesses or as gifts. My art has been described by many as being contemporary, untamed, abstract and expressive .
It's simply "Art with Attitude" !
