The artist world can only be seen from the outside. Look at my work and wonder who is that child or animal. They look earthly enough, but are they? I am classically trained, with a degree in Art, a starting point that provided the backdrop to a life of artistic experiment and adventure. Each piece is unique, hand drawn and painted with layers of color that transport the subject outside of realism, yet remaining recognizable. My colors are dramatic and the details are precise, drawing the outsiders in for a closer look. The ethereal does not have to be fuzzy. I use oil and board to express the colors and details of my work, a place where grass might not be green and cats comer in all shades. I invite you in to this Artist's world, to visit a different perspective, maybe a different dimension.
