Willow Mountain Art originated in the French Quarter of New Orleans five years ago before relocating to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Hendersonville, NC. Our artwork has been featured in galleries and art shows throughout New Orleans, as well as South Florida. We have been actively involved in this area since arriving and have participated in many shows here and across Western North Carolina, including the Apple Festival in Hendersonville. We describe our artwork as glass that is "stained" using different glass lacquers, paints and assorted mediums to create an original and unique art form. This method gives us the ability to create designs that can not be duplicated in actual stained glass due to limitations of the medium. Our art is then framed in all wooden frames that are painted and highly decorated, no two are alike. They can either be hung in a window for a translucent stained glass effect or on a wall as a picture.
