Computer Art I'm a freelance computer graphic artist who enjoys creating science fiction art. While working at my computer I like to imagine that one day my spaceship illustrations will be the inspiration that sparks a young person somewhere to become involved in space science and develop the world's first warp drive that will take us to the stars. I have been working with various computers creating art for over 30 years. In the 1960's I learned how to program my first computer using punch cards on an IBM as big as a house. One summer I actually worked inside a computer wiring circuit boards. In the 1980's when small personal computers became available I had to have one. I became obsessed with programing games and creating art on the Atari 400, 800, 130XE and finally the Atari 620. As each new computer became more powerful I spent more and more time improving my creative skills. Today, I have two computers, a Power Macintosh G4, and a PowerBook. |
