Dawn Shoffeitt

Quilt Artist

Dawn has sewn since she was a very young girl, learning sewing basics from her Mom. She expanded on that by reading instructions and just doing it.

After making her first quilt 15 years ago, she was no longer interested in sewing anything else. In the last few years she has gone at it with much vigor.

Says Dawn, " I love the process almost as much as I love fabric. Being able to create something infinitely pleasing to see and use, from collecting fabrics through the technically challenging work of piecing a quilt together is so satisfying to my creative nature. It is a great privilege to create these works of art and provides me with a great joy.

As much as I love sharing my product with others, I'm sure that I would continue to make quilts even if no one else ever saw them but me!"
